Introducing my family blog!

For the past year I have been blogging with WordPress and the Genesis Framework and child themes over at StudioPress. I have had the best time learning about the blogging world and introducing you to my family and my future business adventures. But now that all my boys are in school I can start working full-force to get my Etsy shop open.  I have been able to sew quite a bit this week and get some projects done. It feels great, and it distracts me from missing my boys too!

One of my goals this month was to start a new blog. This is not another handbag blog or anything, but a blog for my family. An online diary I suppose. I enjoy posting about my family on RS, but realized that what I really wanted to do was to have a clear separation between my business and my family.  So I’d like to introduce you to Little Rays of Sunshine, our new family blog!  What I am going to do is keep my FAMILY icon you see in the menu on RS, but when you click on it, it will take you to raspberrysunshine.NET (family) not the raspberrysunshine.COM (business). Cool huh?!?!  I’d love for everyone to catch up my both my business adventures and my family adventures, but for my sanity I have designed them like this. What do you think?

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Over here, we are starting to see wind and rain from Isaac and expecting it to worsen over the next 24hrs. School has been cancelled, water has been purchased and we have plenty of gas and food. We probably won’t need it, but it’s always good to be prepared. Especially when you live in Florida!! Wish us luck! Cindy

  1. Cindy you have been busy, that ‘s a great idea to just click to take you to the family web site. I think it is a great name for it. The boys don’t start back to school here until the 4th, so not much sewing this week. I have had a great summer but look forward to the fall and sewing again.

Hopefully Isaac won’t be to mean to you and it will pass quickly. Take care.
