WIP Wednesday – The Little Engine That Could…

IMG_2248

So I’m still running with my theory of several small projects going on at the same time is a good idea. And it is (at least for me). I am caught up on my Field Study Tote Sew-Along with Betz White. We are up to the handles which is Day 4, today on her blog.  These handles are easy to sew on and unique. I used a recycled heavy cotton webbing I got from a belt on discount at TJMaxx. Score!

IMG_2253After the handles are installed, we attach two side tabs on both sides above the pocket so a long adjustable strap can be attached later on. Betz has very detailed direction and step by step instructions up on her blog today for those following along.  If you want to keep up to date with the sew-along, use #fieldstudytotesewalong on social media to check it out.

Besides the sew-along and general custom order sewing I have been plugging away at the Hold Everything pattern by By Annie’s (Soft & Stable wonderwoman!)  This is a pattern not for the faint of heart, but I am totally loving it. I was hoping to have it done to share today, but kids activities came first!  IMG_2288

I promise to share my completed case when I finish, along with adjustments and customizations I made in the next few days.   A review of sorts. Sound good?

Hope you’re having a great week!
