Lots of projects going on here. Some small, some large, but all in the final stages. So here are some snapshots of what’s on my sewing table:
A new month means a whole new set of blocks to work on in the 1718 Coverlet Sew-Along. Last month was very challenging because of all the handstitched applique blocks. This month is similar to May but my level of confidence is much better (as is my technique—-which had no where to go but up!!).
This ball of foam and clips is going to be a new coin pouch for me. I’m following a tutorial I found on Pinterest that had a unique shape and size. It is coming along nicely and I should have it done tomorrow. I will share links and review it in a few days.
Have you seen Amy Sinibaldi’s (Nana Company) new book, Sweetly Stitched Handmades? It’s a whole lotta cuteness and I am working on my second project from this book. You can see my version of her Jam Jar Pincushion HERE.
This week starts a sew-along of Amy’s book. Check out the IG feeds of: @sameliasmum and @ohhowsweetco for all the information needed if you’re interested. We are doing one project every other week and can join or skip whenever you want. Use hashtags #sweetlystitchedSAL and/or #sweetlystitchedhandmades to see what everyone is up to.
One big WIP I did finish was my Betz White Field Study Sew-Along Tote. Once I finished the zipper install I just ran with it! This is a seriously great tote. Love how it turned out. If you would like to sew-along head over to her site for more info. Hope your Wednesday was a productive one! Cindy
