I’ve been a busy bee as of lately. I have been working on items for my Etsy store and trying out new techniques and materials, but mostly I’ve been in moving mode. For those of you who have moved quite a bit you may understand better, but when I move I start to stage the house immediately. For us, this means many trips to the local donation station, never-ending cleaning, re-arranging furniture and pictures to make the house look pretty to sell. We’ve had both realtors out now and will hopefully have it on the market next week, so I hope all my hard work does not go unnoticed. Having three boys does not help the situation either. I have set up routines and schedules for us all now so it is my hope that as people come through to look at the house, it will scream, “BUY-ME!”.
Here is a shot of a lunch bag I just completed. It turned out so cute and just the perfect size for a lunch or even a little girl. I found the tutorial over at Pink Penguin. Her directions are so easy to complete and there are a few more excellent tutorials on her blog worth trying. I plan to make this again, but this time I plan on making it a bit larger to use as an everyday tote. What do you think? Cindy
