WIP Wednesday – Sugar Block Club!

I have been cutting fabric and interfacing all day, but wanted to share my WIP with you before I head back to the ironing board.  I received my March Sugar Block Club e-mail this weekend. Quilted Sketchbook Cover

Do you sketch down your project ideas? Maybe on paper scraps or if you’re super talented on a computer program? XL Zippy Pouch & Sew-Stitchy Score!

Yesterday I finished this super-sized quilted linen pouch. I am so excited about it because it finally shows the boxed, flat zipper ends I have trying to achieve for my future products. It’s easy to do this technique on fabric such as this quilted cotton or even home decor if you’re careful, but ultimately I need them perfect for my leather work.  So after lots of sewing practice here is a pouch with my ideal zipper ends!! Weekend Activity Mash-Up

Today marks the end of winter break in the household.  Until a few months ago, winter break was something I had never heard of.
