~ The 1718 Coverlet ~ Top is Done!!

In February of 2015 I joined my first online quilt-a-long, The 1718 Coverlet by Susan Briscoe.  I’m a history buff so when I read the history of this quilt I decided to jump in and give it a try.  And with so many talented and experienced quilters sewing along, I knew help would be available for me. It’s been finished for a few weeks now, but up here in the arctic, the sun doesn’t visit often.  No matter what I tried around the house I couldn’t get good shots of it.  Well Saturday we actually had SUN! I quickly grabbed a few items to photograph then headed to the deck. The inspiration for this quilt came from  a Japanese {Read More}
